If an Internet Marketer wishes to run an affiliate marketing campaign, viral marketing campaign, or any other kind of campaign, he or she can now harness the potential of 750 million users on Facebook!

It’s no surprise, then, that there are many apps now out on the market that are geared towards helping Internet Marketers gain a foothold on Facebook and to leapfrog over their competitors. While the question of which app provider is the best is certainly up for debate, few would leave the X-Tab team out of the discussion. And now, they have launched their latest addition to the X-Tab family, XTAB PAGES.

Phil Benham and Daniel Tan had the courtesy to take me through a short walkthrough of their latest app. I was quite impressed by how quickly a Facebook Page with a corporate profile theme was set up. With the use of custom templates and a point-and-click interface, this was all accomplished under two minutes. Of course the text, videos and images are all prepared beforehand, but it goes to show just how easy it is to set up a Page with the right materials. I later learned that one of the challenges facing Internet Marketers on Facebook is the ability to set up Pages quickly and efficiently to meet different demands and needs, and XTAB PAGES accomplishes this role quite well.

The X-Tab has been promoting XTAB PAGES (formerly known as ElementsPlus) with the tagline of “Build Pages Like a Fortune 500 Company”. Well, XTAB PAGES certainly has the cred to back it up. The ability to customize a Page anyway I want is absolutely huge. Custom HTML, custom CSS and even custom Javascript are all direct features of this app. Users can also insert videos and images anywhere on the Page. The videos can be embedded from popular video sharing sites like YouTube and DailyMotion, or directly coded. What’s more, the all-important Like-gating feature is incorporated as well.

However, what really impresses me most with XTAB PAGES is its ability to instantly implement and customize the staple Facebook functions such as Like, Share, Comments and Invite, in any way I wanted. I could essentially modify and customize them however I like.

I tinkered around with the app to create a Page with Like-gating that was aimed at encouraging viral marketing. By using the custom templates, and with some guidance from Phil and Daniel, the Page was set up from scratch in a few short minutes. It was quite bare, but it had the infrastructure in place and is ready for launch. All I needed to do was to include my own videos and images later to make it complete. Phil also shared a nugget of wisdom with me, “When generating traffic to your Page, your absolute goal is to get as many Likes as possible”. Safe to say, with the in-built Like-gating feature and high customization afforded to me by ElementsPlus, such as modifying the Like and Share buttons to my heart’s content, I was able to create a highly compelling Facebook Page.

All in all, I highly recommend XTAB PAGES to any serious Internet Marketer who wants to get a leg up on the competition in their Facebook Marketing niche. You can go here (link) and check out more details about the awesome app.

What is the "Backlink Battleplan"?

Twitter’s New Twist

I must confess that in recent months I haven’t given Twitter the time that I used to give it.

Why?

Well, even with my 1000s of followers, it made little difference to my bottom line when I consider all the hours that I put into updating it, even with the occasional automatic updating software.

I know that many of my subscribers have felt the same way. Just work out how many hours you spend messing with Twitter and see what you get back in sales or traffic to your website.

Now, in more recent months, I’ve been hearing about a piece of kit called ‘Twittollower’ which is an online system for getting you followers very quickly. Yes, yes, I know what you’re thinking, the same as I did when my inbox started filling up with offers to go and read about the software pre-launch, I thought, NO! not again … more Twitter stuff that doesn’t work.

Twitter began getting very funny about people who would follow others by the truckload hoping that they would follow back. I don’t blame them either.

The problem was, the followers were not targeted very accurately to your niche and all you ended up with were loads of followers who weren’t really interested in you or your products.

So, seeing Twittollower launched on 1^st Feb 2010 made me wonder what all the fuss was about, after all, it was just another ‘quick fix’ to get followers, wasn’t it?

I decided to sign into it after a regular student of mine gave me his honest opinion after I asked him what it was really like. There was I waiting for him to tell me that it was crap when he started to give me the run down of how each day went by with a noticeable difference to his sign-ups and response rates after posting to the followers that Twittollower had gained him.

Unique visitors from Twitter were appearing on his statistics for his blogs and websites.

He was even able to install a plugin to his WordPress blog that automatically sent his posts to Twitter in order to have something for his followers to read and also have links for them to follow.

The good thing is, you simply don’t have to look for followers, the Twittollower system find them for you based on your niche.

All you do is open a brand new Twitter account, do nothing with it yet, open a Twittollower account, follow three simple steps and leave it.

You still make the usual posts to Twitter but your followers will come in their droves.

I decided to sign up on behalf of Internet Marketing Bugle readers to see if it was worthwhile before they invested in it themselves.

What was the result?

Fascinating, to say the least.

People were following me immediately and, what’s more, taking an interest in my posts.

Each hour the number of followers increased.

24hrs on and my following figure stands at 120 and I didn’t do a thing as Twittollower did it all for me, sending traffic to my site, non stop.

I have taken screen shots to prove to people that this really was the case.

I have made a few tweets, of course. Although they have been mostly generated by a plugin on my WordPress blog that tweets an announcement that I’ve made a new post. You’re shown this plugin by the nice people at Twittollower, it’s free to install and use.

Finally, if you’re thinking that you could do what Twittollower does, only for free, well, here are two alternative views;

The first is that while you can add followers for free, adding over 130 per day would be both mind-numbingly boring and time-consuming. I certainly wouldn’t consider it a good use of my time and I’m sure most effective marketers would feel the same.

Free has its place, but not if getting free costs you in other ways.

The second view is that you have to remember that Twittollower guarantee to get you 2000+ new followers each month.

If you think of each follower as a sales lead, that means each lead has about a 3 cents acquisition cost. And that is outrageously cheap!

Of course, once you have them, you have them forever, so you pay to get them once, but can profit from them over and over again.
